BUILDING ON THEIR LEGACY – THE FIGHT FOR ECONOMIC JUSTICE.

We declare our right on this earth to be a human being, to be respected as a human being, to be given the rights of a human being in this society, on this earth, in this day, which we intend to bring into existence by any means necessary." — Malcolm X
The fact is that the black man in the United States of America is facing a literal depression. When there is massive unemployment in the black community, it's called a social problem. But when there is massive unemployment in the white community, it's called a depression." — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Funding Partnership

Ludwig Institute for Shared Economic Prosperity

Former Comptroller of the Currency and business leader Gene Ludwig founded The Ludwig Institute for Shared Economic Prosperity (LISEP) in 2019 to examine the plight of low- and middle-income America.  Recognizing that one major problem for lower-income individuals is their inability to access loans without astronomical interest rates and/or fees, LISEP is partnering with NACA to address this issue through an innovative low interest rate loan program. The Economic Justice Loans program will serve as a model for low-interest loans and a necessary alternative to abusive lending options.

About Naca

The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (“NACA”) is a non-profit, community advocacy and homeownership organization. NACA’s primary goal is to build strong, healthy neighborhoods in urban and rural areas nationwide through affordable homeownership. NACA has made the dream of homeownership a reality for thousands of working people by counseling them honestly and effectively, enabling even those with poor credit to purchase a home or modify their predatory loan with far better terms than those provided even in the prime market.
